My work with Phala gave me early on-the-ground experience in how Web3 ecosystems grow from the ground up.
I contributed as an ambassador focused on community engagement, education, and regional initiatives supporting grassroots ecosystem growth in Africa. Through this role I gained firsthand insight into how Web3 ecosystems grow through education, active community participation, and locally driven initiatives.
Over two years of dedication, I was promoted to Senior Ambassador and took on coordination responsibilities for the Africa region, working closely with the global Phala ambassador team.

Supported the Phala community across Telegram and Twitter, answering questions, sharing resources, and helping new users understand the ecosystem. Consistent, human presence in community channels.
Created content for community education on social media, covering Phala's technology and ecosystem in ways that were accessible to new and existing community members.
Helped coordinate a group of Africa-based ambassadors, aligning efforts around community engagement, education, and local outreach initiatives. Served as the connective tissue between global and regional teams.
Collaborated with ambassadors to organise and host community activities including Twitter Spaces, virtual educational sessions, and online community discussions that kept the Africa community active and informed.
Represented Phala at Crypto Fest South Africa 2024 in Cape Town, speaking at 1:40 PM on the main stage. Introduced the project and discussed decentralised AI infrastructure and trust issues with the local Web3 community.

This experience gave me a strong understanding of how Web3 ecosystems grow from the ground up through education, community engagement, and regional leadership. It was the beginning of my deeper involvement in crypto ecosystems and shaped how I approach community-first content work to this day.
